This new book is written with the intent to provide the reader with key insights into the different theological conceptions of the origin of the gods (theogony), which is a contentious issue in the Mandaean religion. For there are more than nine unequal theogonies alone in the Right Ginza, which contain heterogenous (unlike) elements since they combine to a certain extent polytheistic with monotheistic conceptions.
The focus, however, is about Gnosis. Gnosticism is a work of genius; its ideas show extraordinary examples of imagination. The Gnostics had views of their own when it came to speak about the other unfamiliar, alien god and his all-embracing illuminated universe. This new book also deals with the following important subjects:
- Is Gnosis a missionary religion? Did the Mandaeans practice missionary activities for their religion in the past, as Aziz Sebahi has written in his book about the Mandaeans? What took place in the city Dast-Maysan?
- Are the Mandaeans Sabaeans i.e., those who always worshipped the stars, sacrificed various animals to their planetary gods and eaten the blood of these animals?
