In Australia, many incidents of domestic violence have outraged in recent times not only the politicians in Canberra, but also public opinion in general. These reports of assaults are now more widely known (also publicized and recognized) than in the past, because of their frequency and brutality. For most of these incidents resulted tragically in the death of the female victims. Domestic violence is a crime against humanity.
